My apologies I have been slacking on my blogging duties well not really. I been very sick and with this roller coaster weather changing I haven't been able to get out and shoot some shots. Finally after much rest, sleep, tea and soup I'm BACK up and running. Well enough about that, hope everyone's Thanksgiving was great unfortunately didn't get a chance to shoot my outfit for Thanksgiving but Ill be sure to recreate. What did you guys wear? Did you guys dress up or keep it casual? It was defiantly really nice having a cool Thanksgiving and bringing out the cute sweaters and holiday festive wear.

Soooo...Did everyone go BLACK FRIDAY shopping? or stay home and do most of your shopping online like me. Well for the ones that went out hope the lines weren't that bad and for the ones that did the online route hope you guys got some great deals. Got to stock up on some things that been wanting and eying for some time. Boots were defiantly on my list and speaking of boots I picked these ones up at Target and I love!! Haven't been able to find a boot like this and when I did it was like no brainier. Having a bigger calves and thicker legs is defiantly harder to find boots that can zip up or let alone a boot that can fit right. I have been pairing these boots with a lot of thing. But with this outfit I wanted it to be casual but fun so I layered the heck out of it and you guys know I love to layer. Went for something simple but edgy at the same time. The jacket was the real piece that pulled it together for me.

What pieces have you guys been layering or can't seem to get enough of wearing?

Spotted...

Leather Jacket: H&m (similar style here). Sweater: Loft. Denim Shirt: Old Navy. Coated Jeans: Old Navy (last season but similar style here). Boots: Forever21 (old but love this option here). Bag: H&m (old but love this option here). Necklace: Forever21. Hat: Forever21 (old but like this option here). Watch: Michael Kors (similar option here).

Finally the cool down has came and hopefully its here to stay for while. I love to be layered up in general and it doesn't bother me like most. But theirs something about being layered up and its chilly outside. With the cooler weather here in Florida I tend to take full advantage of this cool down and bust out those sweaters and layer them up. What items do you guys like to layer? Do you guys car for layering? Hows the weather in your neck of the woods?

Over Thinking It....

Dress: Hm (old but similar here). Vest: Forever21 (old but love this one here). Boots: Shoemint (almost identical version here). Fringe Bag: Hm (similar style here). Necklace: Random Find (similar style here). Hat: Forever21 (love this option here). Dragon Claw Bracelet: Ebay(similar here). Ring: Forever21 (old but similar here).

Sometimes the simplest pieces can make the chicest outfit. I'm not going to lie but I tend to over think the "simple" which kills it for me or sometimes thinking its too blane. I like to take the "simple" and put a spin on it and I know sometimes the simplest pieces don't need to be dressed up because simply it does itself. But take this simple dress, yes you could wear this itself but for me it just isn't enough. When is something too much? Do you guys dress up your simple pieces? Do you guys just like the "simplicity" of an outfit? Does simple ever get boring?
